Imagine you are moving to Puerto Vallarta...

You need so much information, you have so many questions – but you’re not sure who to ask. You need to find somewhere to live, open a bank account, set up your internet connection – but you’re still getting used to the local language and culture. And most of all, you want to meet others who understand your situation, who share your interests and hobbies – other global minds, new friends.

What if you could find everything you need in one place? A place where international people like you meet, connect, and exchange information. A welcoming community of open-minded individuals who share your experiences. A secure space full of useful advice from fellow expats and knowledgeable locals. A world of opportunities to network and find friends who will explore your new surroundings with you - wherever you are in the world. There is such a place here in Puerto Vallarta and it's called InterNations!

Basically InterNations is a group of expats and as a member you get to meet fellow internationals in Puerto Vallarta, they also host forums and destination guides that help provide valuable tips and information about living in Puerto Vallarta. Membership is free, click below to sign up for InterNations membership.

This Saturday November 17th at 4pm is the InterNations annual High Season Kick Off at the El Rio BBQ! Come and enjoy the best BBQ ribs in Puerto Vallarta, along with El Rio's full menu, and meet some new friends through InterNations.

Rio BBQ is nestled among the cliffs on the Rio Cuale — live music with Da Crew at 16:00. There will be no cover charge and El Rio will be offering InterNations attendees a free welcome cocktail, beer or lemonade, as well as table snacks. You need to be a member to attend, but membership is free! If you have never been to Rio BBQ you are in for a treat. If you have been there - welcome back and let’s get this season started! Parking is limited, taxis are under 100 pesos from downtown. If traveling by bus it’s bus route 4 to Paso Ancho. And just a heads up, the Paso Ancho buses are now the OLD blue and white city buses. If in doubt, ask the driver if he's going to Paso Ancho.
